Unstable and dangerous paving - loose paving slabs a few yards from Costcutter

Reported anonymously at 12:24, Tue 5 October 2021

This is a complaint. I have been unable to source an email address to use and after speaking with Greenwich Council they have advised me TFL are responsible for the issue at hand. I would like to inform you of an injury I have suffered due to the loose and very dangerous paving slabs on the pavement a few yards up from Costcutter, 428 Well Hall Road. I was walking to the shops whilst carrying my 11 week old son on the front of me in his carrier when my left foot was caught by one of the uneven paving slabs sticking out of the pavement and my left ankle folded over onto its side. Not only was this extremely painful meaning I had to hobble all the way home carrying my child, but had I have fallen to the floor with my son in his carrier I cannot even bring myself to think of what could have happened. Thankfully I was able to keep my balance, but I was in agony. The following morning I had a considerable amount of swelling on my ankle and have taken and attached a picture of this as well as pictures of the loose paving slabs (which today still have not been rectified). This took place on Tuesday 21st September, and today, two weeks later, my ankle is still swollen. I have spoken with my doctor who suggested I may have sprained it. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience with regards to how you plan to address this issue with regards to the pavement as well as my injury.
