A few months after last repair a pothole has formed again by pedestrian crossing outside Blythe Hill Tavern. A longer term fix is required. After just a couple of months the previous asphalt surround to manhole cover has cracked and pothole forming. Manhole cover moves with passing vehicles with upflow of water from man hole causing further leaching of road surface. There is clearly something wrong him here that requires a proper fix - not just re asphalting around the cover, else will recur again every few weeks. The level of South Circular traffic and weight of continuous lorries traffic makes a bodge job very vulnerable to repeated damage to a bodge job!
