Manhole cover on Burdett road is rocking Reported anonymously at 01:19, Fri 14 January 2022 Hello, the manhole cover which sits towards the centre of the road across from Spice Hut makes a rocking or “clink-clonk” sound as cars go over it. It is marked as number 422 with red paint. Because it is a very busy road it goes on all through the night and the placement on the road makes it very hard for cars to avoid it. I have contacted the council but they said it is TFL territory. I would say it’s been going on about 6 months, I didn’t think it was fixable and have just been using ear plugs but after googling it I found out loose manhole covers can be an easy fix with rope/rubber so it would be much appreciated if you could try something like that to stop the clink clonk noise. Thanks in advance
