Homophobic graffiti written on shelter transparent sections and also on timetable holder on pole

Reported anonymously at 07:16, Tue 5 July 2022

Shelter at the stop Shooters Hill Road / Well Hall Road - stop SP towards Blackheath or QE Hospital Woolwich (89/161/244/291/N89) has offensive Homophobic comments written on the transparent plastic windows of the shelter in permanent black marker pen - written and drawn. There is also an additional comment written on the timetable holder located on the bus stop pole, also Homophobic and offensive. Comments include the following - absolutely shocking. -“You need my big black c**k” -A Drawing if a hole in plastic with arrow and “gloryhole here” written next to it - Drawings of intimate parts -“Watch out Queers come here” -“Suck my ***” -Use of the word *fa**ots* Disgusting and very shocking in this day and age to see such comments written and they don’t look like they have only just appeared in some instances. Need to be removed urgently and ideally those responsible held to account using assumed CCTV as it on the main road. It’s worrying these ‘hate’ comments seem to be increasing across the borough in the past year - it would be good to start seeing some of these haters held to account and charged using CCTV particularly as it keeps being shouted in celebratory style we don’t put up with hate crimes, but we seem to allow this graphitti to go unpunished or at least we don’t hear about any charged.
