Loud and rocking manhole

Reported in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 10:16, Tue 31 December 2019

Sent to TfL 4 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS1911634.

After 15 months for complaining, the manhole cover was fixed in May. The cover has now become loose again and is making a lot of noise whenever it is driven over. 2 manhole covers, one opposite Peckham Park Road bus stop EN and one opposite Ladrboke's. Not sure which one is making the noise but it needs to be checked on and fixed.

  • Last time it took TFL 15 (!!!) months to fix this... It is causing severe nuisance to residents and concerning safety issues to road users. This needs to be fixed properly and this week.
