Street lights out between chester road- falconwood
Reported in the All out - three or more street lights in a row category anonymously at 12:54, Mon 6 January 2020
Sent to TfL 2 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS1921082.
I live at 799 East Rochester Way DA15 8TG.
For the last 4 weeks we have been without lighting between Chester Road and Falconwood on the A2.
I understand that works are being undertaken to this stretch of lighting but I would like to know when the lights will be turned back on?
The pavement leading to my home from Chester Road and up to Falconwood is very uneven, there is no street lighting (unlike on the other side of the A2) therefore we depend on the A2 lighting to illuminate the pavement at night to reduce the risk of falls/injury.
I have been in touch with High Ways England & they have advised me that you are responsible
