Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:20, Tue 7 January 2020
Sent to TfL 6 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS1923163.
I wrote last month about a blocked drain on Hazelbourne road near the junction with Balham Hill. I had an email (at the foot of this email from Kirsty Jones at Lambeth) saying this is the responsibility of TFL and not Lambeth. This morning I’ve received the below email from TFL saying it’s Lambeths responsibility- not TFL’s.
Exactly the same thing happened when the drain blocked last year! I have better things to go than be dealing with two companies who insist on passing the buck. I suggest TFL and Lambeth speak to each other and work out who is responsible then get it sorted. I’ve pointed out the blocked drain to the authorities and now responsibility to sort it lies with one of you.
It really shouldn’t be this frustrating to get this dealt with.
