Traffic light stuck on red for over 5 minutes

Reported in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 16:38, Tue 21 January 2020

Sent to TfL 3 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS1953142.

Comments: Hey, I was hoping to confirm if a red traffic light had a fault around 13:30 today. I was sat at the lights for about 6 minutes with no traffic in any other direction and traffic building behind me. Everyone was beeping behind to suggest it was broken so I decided to go through the red light. I cycle past this junction daily on my commute and the longest I ever wait is 90 seconds which is why I found the situation odd and felt pressured from behind to move forward. I hope there was a fault as I’m always cautious driving through London.

I hope you can help and clarify this for me,
