No entry sign ignored on Princes Circus northbound

Reported in the Damage - pole leaning / equipment detached from pole/facing the wrong direction category anonymously at 17:22, Tuesday 4 February 2020

Sent to TfL 4 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS1979181.

The temporary no entry sign into Shaftesbury avenue northbound past high holborn isn't obvious and cars are ignoring it many times a day. This is a major risk for southbound traffic using this lane while Princes Circus is being dug up.

  • The photograph was taken on 14th February at 13:45, it shows the blue car probably following its sat nav and not noticing the no entry sign which isn't very obvious. The issue is ongoing.
