You press the button and it turns itself off without the green man appearing.

Sent to TfL 6 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS2064002.

You press the button, the red light comes on to indicate it has been pressed, then it switches off without activating a green man. I tried a number of times, both times I tried to cross the road today. This meant I had to cross the road dangerously because I had no ability to activate the green man.
