Many large potholes and damaged manhole covers

Reported in the Pothole (minor) category anonymously at 16:33, Wed 3 June 2020

Sent to TfL 3 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS2141062.

I'm a cyclist and commute daily along New Cross Road. The section between heading West just past Florence Road is incredibly poor quality, with large potholes and protruding drain coverings etc. It is impossible to avoid cycling over a particularly damaged area - short of swerving out into the centre of the road. I’m sure you’ll know that this section is always busy and so it’s often hard to navigate around or over the damaged road without risking safety or damaging my bike. Today, I was forced to cycle over the potholed-road which resulted in my getting a puncture, and damaging the tyre completely. I had to cut my commute short as a result. I will also have to pay to replace the tyre.
