A drain cover has been badly cemented and exposing sharp and uneven edge.

On Tuesday 5th May, I tripped, and split my patella. I was rushed into hospital where I had emergency operation and stayed in hospital for 5 days. Since leaving hospital with my leg in a brace I have been gathering strength and increasing the distance that I could walk with a crutch.

Today, 5th June, I walked to the spot where I had the accident and found that, not only is the metal cover, the rim of the paving stone and the cement In such a dangerous state that you had already been identified and dangerous by Wandsworth. This is just disgraceful that Wandsworth Council ignores the state of the pavement.

The pavement in the road that I live in, Comyn Road, SW11 1QB is in a terrible state. Therefore when I am walking anywhere along my road I am extremely careful. When I was walking up East Hill on 5th May, the pavement is new and, in general, a good state, except for the fitting of the metal grids.
