Store goods on footway causing obstruction

Reported in the Pavement Overcrowding category anonymously at 16:31, Wed 17 June 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2160550.

Already-narrow footway on Upper Richmond Road West is further obstructed by A-board at Lupo, 313 Upper Richmond Road West. Combination of board, shop goods, and queing customers makes it v difficult to pass while maintaining social distance. This is the South Circular, so stepping into the road is not an option. Has been like this for several weeks.

  • Board and goods are on the footway again today, albeit not as much. I spoke to staff, who said that management had not said anything to them about not positioning goods and board on footpath. This is the South Circular.
