Members of public are still using footway and not temporary extension

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2163329.
Resident of the high street wants to complain about the extension of the sidewalk on the Stoke Newington High Street (between the Brook Road and the Overground). This extension was created to increase social distancing due to Covid-19. Yet, it hasn't been very effective (as most people still use the sidewalk and not the extension) and the traffic is unbearable.
The noise pollution has raised to an impossible level. It has been very hard to work from home as we hear every 2 to 5 minutes horns, ambulances, polices - far more than before the implementation of the sidewalk extension. These noises have raised due to the lack of space and constant traffic on the road. The proximity to the police station also does not help. I understand the need for social distancing but clearly this solution has only raised the problems and nuisance of the people living in this area.
