Streetspace lanes not being used by pedestrians

Reported in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 10:33, Fri 26 June 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2173460.

Streetspace lanes not being used by pedestrians - loss of road space is causing delays to traffic. A member of public reported this on 25th June: Their comments: I have been driving into central london to take my partner to work during the covid lockdown . She works for NHS doctor and cannot work from home. The new pedestrian lanes that fill the bus lanes are causing considerable delay for buses and cars . The lanes do not seem to be used by pedestrians as the pavements are wide enough for distancing. Perhaps you could consider removing the lanes where they are not being significantly used. It will help traffic flow and not present an increased risk to pedestrians .

Direction of Travel: to marble arch
