Dangerous and noisy road

Reported in the Streetspace Suggestions and Feedback category anonymously at 09:38, Tuesday 30 June 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2178905.

Trinity Road between Tooting Bec station and Glenburnie road has to be one of the noisiest and most unpleasant stretches of red route around. The pavements are none existent and unkempt with no greenery, the road is potholed and noisy, the speed of cars moving along this stretch is a concern made even more of a problem due to the fact it is a hill (there are no road calming installations). I hear repeatedly about improvements to help pedestrians and cyclists and this stretch of road appears to be repeatedly abandoned to all forms of improvements. I frequently see cyclists afraid to use the stretch and dismount to avoid the speeding cars and lorries (no attempt to make provisions for bikes, not even the usual slim road paint for this stretch), unfortunately even if they choose to walk they do not have enough room for them and their bikes on the pavement.
