Rainwater not able to drain properly

Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 08:29, Wed 8 July 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2190641.

Member of public had reported this on 28th June, but had been ongoing since late last year2019. Further comments: Pathway leading up from London Road 67 London Road Forest Hill SE23 3TY. Water is flooding into the road. Staircase at the block of flats, its at the pathway that leads to the entrance to the flats. Drainage isn't able to deal with it as its not positioned in such a way it can deal with the water.

This flooding issue has been ongoing since Christmas (December). It was reported back in February to Thames water however the land is owned by the council - However the flood is occurring on TFL operated streets. Member of public also added; a problem with the drain covers on the far side of this road, so the drain covers are higher than the gutter so the water doesn't actually drain away. It seems the drain cover seems to be raised above the water area on this road and can be a problem when pedestrians are getting soaked by passing cars.

Gutter issue is between 67 London Road and Taymont Rise. SE23.
