Tarmac damaged/missing around manhole cover causing significant noise

Reported in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 20:37, Thu 16 July 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2203948.

The tarmac around a manhole cover is very damaged / missing in parts. As a result, cars driving over the manhole generate a significant amount of extra noise (affecting neighbouring houses) as tyres hit the edge of the manhole cover. The manhole is on Trinity road, just opposite Nottingham Road.

I reported the issue in January 2020. At the time your teams did something to fix the problem. It helped for a while (the noise had reduced greatly) but the problem is now back as it was, if not worse.
