Inadequate Signage

Reported in the Roadworks category anonymously at 23:43, Mon 10 August 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2239517.

The work that is going on is causing issues to other residential streets. The work have no signage around them for diversions so people are pulling into streets that are one way such as watcolm cottages at speed and then having to turn around which is causing noise pollution and danger of an accident.

  • We can confirm that all the signage that is in place is as per the agreed Traffic Management drawings. we have advised our contractors to check it throughout the night. As per usual a lot of people ignore the correct diversion route's, and always try to find shortcuts themselves. Our contractors saw this on many occasions over the 3 nights. Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. Should you need anything else or have any questions please contact customer services on 0343 222 1234
