Low lying branches and fruit falling on the pavement.

Reported in the Low hanging branches and general maintenance category anonymously at 13:24, Tuesday 1 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2273113.

The tree is now very large with low lying branches. The cob apples on this tree fall and cause a disgusting mess on the pavement and in my front garden and steps to my house. They are also dangerous as they go into mush and could cause someone to slip and fall and possibly damaging themselves. This tree should either be given a good heavy pruning or be replaced with one that does not have fruit on it. I am an elderly person and could quite easily slip on these fruits plus the fact I am having to sweep it every day to prevent this happening. I was under the impression that keeping the pavement etc clear was the responsibility of TFL.
