Streetspace changes prevents accessibility

Reported in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 09:45, Thu 3 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2276209.

Please could you say if you are giving any input into the changes to the A24 Balham High Rd that has added a segregated cycle lane to the road?

I am very concerned that no one appears to be advocating for the rights of those with mobility problems or bus users. Time-limited parking spaces that were already recessed so did not impede on the cycle lane and which gave access to two GP surgeries and a physio centre have been removed. Bus stops have been moved but not the shelters so there is no shelter from the elements while waiting for a bus. The cycle lane runs in between the bus stop and pavement making it frightening to cross the road if you have any mobility, sight, or hearing impairments.

It looks as if this has gone ahead without anyone being able to put in expert input on accessibility? Would this be the case?
