The specific point is that the LTN which is to stop entry at the junction of Tooting Bec Road and Elmbourne Road (and the closing off of the junction of Louisville Road and Elmbourne Road) has not been put in place. That has lead to all traffic that tries to avoid the traffic lights at Tooting Bec Underground being concentrated down Louisville Road on which there is a primary school. This is proving extremely dangerous for pupils and parents alike and there needs to be some immediate temporary measure to stop traffic entering Elmbourne from Tooting Bec Road until the more permanent measures can be put in place. I fear unless this is enacted immediately there may be fatalities.
