Poor signage

Reported in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 08:47, Fri 11 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2289194.

Today I attempted to drive in my 49cc scooter to Bishopsgate from the west end. This is the first time I have attempted to do this in a number of years.

I would like to complain that the signage in place regarding the changes in traffic around the area of Cannon Street station to Bishopsgate is absolutely appalling. It is completely impossible to know if one is driving on a permitted area or one for buses only.

I am aware that the objective is not to have traffic in the area. However it is incredibly dangerous to have bikes and vehicles stopping suddenly when they have no idea if they are ok or in an illegal spot.

To give an example. Some of the signs before and at London Bridge south-bound say it is ok for motor -cycles and others say bus and bike only.

I completely support creating more bicycle lanes however not at the expense of completely misleading other drivers.
