Roundabout l/ lane signage

Reported in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 11:21, Monday 14 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2293514.

I believe I am right in saying the layout changed on the Redbridge roundabout some time ago with white lines and a lane priory change for traffic moving over the roundabout in reference to traffic travel along a12 from Romford into London.

Whilst I think the work done makes sense there is many road users not aware or willing to accept that there has been a flow change.

Is it not possible to have very clear signage leading onto the approach to the roundabout ie left lane left only middle straight on only right lane straight on or left?

And perhaps clear arrows on the approach to the roundabout signalling the lane direction?

If my understanding of the intended traffic flow is correct.

Every day in peak traffic there is frequent near misses every time the lights change and a new flow of traffic enters the roundabout.

Something so simple as signage would go a long way.

It would also support insurance cases between motorists with an easier reference point of fault and non fault.
