Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2300676.
This tree needs to be fixed. The roots are coming through our boundary wall and it is a danger to pedestrians as well as vehicles. Kindly note we called the number suggested but we were advised nobody can take our call due to reduced staff. Kindly ensure it is urgently sorted before somebody suffers an injury.
Thank you for your report. This will now be investigated by our team, where possible and appropriate action will be taken. We will still try to update on the progress within 10 days, however in the current circumstances it may not be possible to do so while we focus on keeping our roads safe for critical workers as they to continue to support London

The works being done this am were on Finchley Road, nothing has been done to address the damage caused by this to our home, especially our boundary wall. The roots are damaging the wall and quite possibly the house also. This is dangerous and we need more action please asap. to protecty us and our property from further damage and the damage done to be made good please.

Thanks for your message. The link provided in the e-mail brought me back here. Someone needs to come and see what it has done to our boundary wall as well as robbing our garden of light. The trimming on Finchley Road is not the complete sustainable solution. We will also call on the number provided in your e-mail but from past experience, getting through to the appropriate person is usually a challenge. We would be obliged for the removal of the tree and repairing the boundary wall. As we have suggested that space around it on the pavement in Finchley Road serves no purpose other than to be a dumping ground.

We received a call from a gentleman called Connor who agreed after seeing the photos we had submitted that the considerable and ongoing damage to our boundary wall needs to be addressed and is dangerous, as is the lack of natural light on our property which the tree robs us of. We were provided a reference number and promised someone would be getting back to us. The reference number is 15275143. Winter is almost here and the pruning of the tree was done only on one side (Finchley Road) and we are concerned that the tree may fall on our property with the expected winds and storms because it is not balanced. Our proposed suggestion remains to have the tree removed and rebuild our boundary wall to encompass the wasteland that surrounds the tree. The wasteland was also cleared up when the tree was pruned but it will soon be back to being a refuse ground since there is no physical barrier to prevent this, as was the case before. Urgent attention is requested. The potential danger and consequences of allowing the situation to be allowed to continue as it may be incalculable. We look forward to your kindly doing something imminently. Thank you.
