Huge tree need to be tamed

Reported in the Low hanging branches category anonymously at 23:33, Sat 19 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2302860.

4602276 2). 4602276 (and previously: 968031 and 1019789390) The tree outside my house is enormous, and hasn't been cut back since we have been living here (except on the bus side occasionally). It sways about dangerously in the wind and bits are constantly falling off it. The leaves are constantly blocking up the drains in Autumn and it overhangs my garden significantly, causing loss of light. I have seen lots of trees on the A21 being cut well back, PLEASE will you deal drastically with this one.

  • 25.10.2020 tree outside 248 Hastings Road BR2 8QP. 28 days has passed since I last wrote to you about this dangerous tree, and nothing has been done. Last night a 10ft branch fell off onto my wall and the pavement. It was not particularly windy last night, and the branch looks fairly rotten, there are thousands more up there just like it waiting to fall either on my property or the head of some unsuspecting passer-by. Please will you deal with the tree and pollard it to make it safe. Judy Eade judyeade@talktalk.net.
