No road markings for right turn from Powys onto A406
Reported in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 08:45, Sunday 20 September 2020
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2302952.
The recent introduction of an LTN in Bowes has forced residents to make one of 3 turnings into the North Circular to get home. The right turn from Powys Lane to the A406 is not fit for purpose. There are no road markings of where to place yourself in the road, and it is impossible to see traffic heading down Brownlow Road in the left hand lane. There are currently signs up indicating that there has been a RTA there but this is now an essential turning for most residents when coming from the North into Bounds Green and it simply is not safe.
Thank you for your report. This will now be investigated by our team, where possible and appropriate action will be taken. We will still try to update on the progress within 10 days, however in the current circumstances it may not be possible to do so while we focus on keeping our roads safe for critical workers as they to continue to support London
