Overgrown trees blocking pathway.

Reported in the Low hanging branches and general maintenance category anonymously at 22:35, Friday 25 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2312310.

Commuters and school children use this pathway frequently every weekday morning.

The hazards of overgrown trees/shrubbery and poor maintenance cause a serious risk to all, accidents have the potential to happen.

Please see the pictures attached.

My elderly mother used this walkway recently and injured her ankle.

This area is right on the boundary of Enfield council's and TFLs responsibilities, believe could be why its fallen in into disrepair.

Please do not ignore this risk.

Thank you

Updates

  • My 2 children and nearly half the youths of the surrounding area use this path everyday to school, very very run down and neglected area with potential danger and intimidating activities going on daily.. regenerating this area will have a huge positive impact on the daily passengers young and elderly which use this route. We will be putting together a petition and sending it through all of the signatures to TFL and Enfield Council

  • Hi,

I disagree with the "fixed" status of this report, as no conclusive action has been taken.

Can it be reopened and closed only once the contracts have carried out some remedial action?

    Thank you
