Noisy manhole cover

The manhole cover in the middle of the pedestrian crossing on Edith Grove is making a lot of noise when traffic passes over it.

  • Section 81 reported to Thames Water, ref: TW00005075, 01/10/2020 11:37. Feedback from Thames Water: Loose cover appears to be a direct result of recent resurfacing works, issue not reported prior to these works. Rectification is responsibility of the HA/resurfacing contractor. This is on the TLRN (red route). Please could TfL take urgent remedial action. many thanks.

  • Hello. Is there any update on when this increasingly noisy manhole cover will be repaired? I see the latest update says it has been passed toy our contractors but is showing as “fixed”, which it definitely is not. Thank you.
