All street lights are out along London Bridge

Reported in the All out - three or more street lights in a row category anonymously at 16:38, Tue 29 September 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2317515.

There are no lights along the bridge, which is a real health and safety issue, as it gets dark very early. Pedestrians have to cross the bridge in complete darkness, it's difficult to keep social distancing and navigate around people, when it's impossible to see who's where. There was a loud group of drunken people last Thursday evening just before 8pm walking towards me from the South side, which made me feel unsafe as I couldn't see where they were exactly.

  • Still no lights across the entire London Bridge for several months now. This is completely unacceptable and has to be fixed ASAP as it is very unsafe to walk across the bridge once it becomes dark. Please fix the lights ASAP.

  • It's November 3rd and the lights are still out on London Bridge. I sell the Big Issue on the bridge and the lack of lighting makes me feel very vulnerable. It's also impossible to sell magazines to people who can't see you!! Please sort this out as soon as possible so I can make a living.
