Mr Khan, I appreciate all the efforts you have made to make our streets safer during the current pandemic. However have you at any time considered the needs of disabled people? I live in North Finchley and work in Westminster. This journey is impossible by public transport so I drive. This is not a choice- it's a necessity.
Recent changes to road layouts, driving directions , extended cycle lanes, new bus lanes and pavement widening have resulted in my journey taking at least twice as long. This is not good for me and my pain levels but also for the environment as I'm spending longer in the car.
Have you given any thought to allowing blue badge holders to use bus lanes and / or enter car exclusion zones (such as the one around Bank).
I would be very grateful to hear your views on this subject which is causing me extreme anxiety and making me consider seeking ill health retirement simply because I can no longer get to work.
