The lights are spontaneously activating every 20 to 30 seconds.

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2331684.
For at least the last 5 days the pedestrian controlled lights change to red spontaneously, stopping traffic every 20 to 30 seconds. The lights are close to the junction of Ridgeway Road and the Great West Road. Only the carriageway towards Hounslow seems affected. I reported this by email to TFL on 4.10.20 but have had no reply.

Unless this is a deliberate traffic calming measure, the fault persists. I walked by the crossing this morning. The pedestrian crossing lights continue to activate spontaneously, now every 30 to 35 seconds. The 'wait' light on the push- button pedestrian box is constantly lit (except when the traffic stops at the red signal). Only the lights on the same side as the junction with Ridgeway Road and the A4 are affected (arrow on map is wrong side of A4).
