Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2337510.
Two car lanes reduced to one in order to widen pavement at O2 centre finchley road. This is causing enormous amount of congestion and fumes from traffic which is stationary a large part of the day. There are very few people walking outside O2 centre and it is now impossible to walk to shops despite widening as the fumes are so bad. Please reinstate the second car lane immediately. It will be the death of all shops on swiss cottage parade and you can't park anymore and walking is a risk to health.
The decision to move to single lane for a small stretch of road before and after Finchley Road station have caused unprecedented traffic where the benefits of the bus lane does not outweigh the the 10-15 minutes added to every journey during rush hour
