A24 road layout

Reported via desktop in the Streetspace Feedback category anonymously at 11:56, Wed 14 October 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2340406.

Comments: Whilst I'm all for providing safe facilities for cyclists the new arrangements along the A24 (Balham High Road) and Ritherdon Road are ridiculous. Most if not all Parking along this route has been lost forcing delivery trucks into the already over crowded side streets. The width of the High Road has been reduced from the equivalent of 6 lanes (including what was restricted parking) to now only 2 lanes. The consequences on traffic flow at busy times is obvious. Please consider reverting back to the previous arrangements which accommodated cyclists, through traffic and residents. This was by far better than what we have now. Thank you

Direction of Travel: Both north and south along A24
