Loud dangerous manhole cover

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2342327.

I’ve contacted you on this before. It looks like the site was attended but the loud noise is worse than before! Can this be fixed as it’s causing constant stress for local residents and is a hazard as it’s directly outside Lidl supermarket. Once fixed could it be tested as it clearly wasn’t previously?

  • Notwithstanding that contractors attended recently, the manhole cover still makes a loud noise whenever a car goes over it. This is particularly annoying at night when it can disrupt sleep.

  • This manhole cover is still making a loud noise and therefore the issue is unresolved. Please can we have a team attend to this. Thank you.

  • The issue with the manhole making loud noise with every passing vehicle is still unresolved. This is becoming a huge inconvinience specially at night. Attached is a photo of the manhole. Can we please get this fixed? Thanks - on behalf of Summit House residents

  • This IS NOT resolved which is why so many residents have been contacting you re the loud noise and danger for vehicles. Who can I escalate this to as it is obviously not being taken seriously?

  • Agreed, this is NOT resolved. Clearly TfL's contractors do not check their work. This is the second time that this fault has been erroneously reported as fixed.
