I admire you effort on trying to make cycling safer as you have done in Euston Road and park lane however Road like York way are a different story due to them being narrow.
I am a bus driver and found it very difficult to driver with the cycle lane barriers in place. It make driving the bus in a narrow lane hard as you have to be mindful of the opposite lane traffic when moving forward. Furthermore if they should be a broken down vehicle on this road like a bus.it will cause a lot of trouble. I would like to request that you pirorities having cycle lanes in places where you can also have a bus lane. I belive you should pirorities bus lanes before cycle lanes as bus lanes are more efficient for traffic and the safety of road users
Your cycle lanes in Euston Road and park lane are always empty no traffic. Even thought I think your changes do these Road have had a positive effect I belive making changes to York way style of road will not have the same effect.
Please reconsider your decision on one lane roads
