  • Our routine inspections had already picked up this issue and it has been resolved. We apologise for the noise and disruption caused by our works. Majority of our works have been planned to take place during the day, however on some occasions we have to continue working throughout the night to ensure that we can keep the bridge open to buses, coaches, taxis and pedestrians during the weekday. You will be please to know that we have completed works on the eastern half of the bridge and will be opening the southbound traffic lanes this Saturday 31 October. We will continue to work on the western side of the bridge and ensure that we complete all the works as soon as possible. Again, I apologise for the inconvenience caused by these works. Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. Should you need anything else or have any questions please contact customer services on 0343 222 1234
