Traffic light twisted causing dangerous hazard

Reported via desktop in the Damage - pole leaning / equipment detached from pole/facing the wrong direction category anonymously at 05:47, Saturday 24 October 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2355010.

Traffic light twisted 30 degrees clockwise causing two dangerous hazards. Firstly the traffic light unit is fixed on an extension from the pole with the twist now moving the traffic light box into the path of the road. This is a serious hazard for taller vehicles. Secondly the twist renders the changing lights to be not clearly visible to approaching traffic. The precise location is in the central island at Bridge Street/Westminster Bridge Road for vehicles travelling west along Victoria Embankment to the mandatory left turn at the junction with Bridge Street. This is a busy pedestrian and traffic junction. It has been like this for at least two weeks.
