Wrottesley Road to Harrow Road Traffic Lights

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 18:41, Sunday 25 October 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2356787.

The traffic lights from Wrottesley Road to Harrow Road over the last month appear to have changed. They stay on Red for a very long time allowing traffic to queue to the roundabout on Wrottesley Road and beyond. Harrow Road itself at this junction has hardly no delays whatsoever

  • The new traffic lights installed and new crossing along with it, isn’t effective. Many children on their way to school cross here, and the light stays on red for too long at the roundabout, and the green light doesn’t stay on for long enough. This has parents rushing across the road to try make it in time. Further to this, it seems to confuse the drivers as they often will carry on driving when the light is green from wrottesley road driving towards Harlesden. It’s no surprise, that this is very dangerous. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible
