Pedestrian crossing too loud
Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 19:41, Sun 25 October 2020
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2356849.
Since the new traffic lights have been put up at the pedestrian crossings at the junction of Cambridge Heath Road and Hackney road the beeping is very loud and intrusive, it is constant throughout the day everyday starting from 7am into the night every couple of minutes. There are a number of residential buildings right by the crossing on cambridge heath road and this is a constant and very shrill loud noise disturbance making it impossible to rest or work throughout the day, especially vital for those in particular who work shift patterns for the NHS and along with other industries who have to work from home. It is undermining the living standards of the residents as well as impacting on people's mental health and well being.
