Lots of missing trees and poorly maintained after planting

Great west Rd Full stretch A4 - lots of damaged , missing and leaning trees . Very poor care of trees after planting them . Some tree doesn’t have stem protection band at root level to protect damage from grass trimmer during grass trimming around main trunk at low level . There is no aftercare post planting of trees . All tree pits soil should be good up-to 2 meters of depth free from any debris .

  • Planting and maintenance of trees is a contractual requirement from our contractors. Any trees that is deemed dangerous is removed from the TLRN and replace at some stage.
