Damaged and unsightly bus shelter at Bus Stop N

This complaint is in regard to the damaged and unsightly bus shelter at bus stop N, which happens to be located extremely close to our shop front. We got in touch with TFL in 2017 about the same issue; the reference number of this complaint was CRM001:0826000000572. This bus shelter is positioned directly in front of our shop, almost completely obscuring the view of our showroom from the street and also blocking out nearly all natural light. It is covered with graffiti and extremely run down, often accumulating litter and rubbish bags on the very slim patch of pavement between our shop front and the shelter. It has no electrical features, apart from a dim single light, as well as empty display boards and scratched glass. As you can imagine, this is not only extremely damaging for our business (something we cannot afford in these difficult times for small businesses) but is also a problem for residents in the flats above. Since 2017, the problem with this shelter has unfortunately worsened as the distance between our shop front and the bus shelter has decreased even more, following the extension to our shop front in 2018, leaving virtually no pavement space. This is also a health hazard, given passers-by and also customers to our store cannot maintain a 2m distance to those waiting under the bus shelter. There are no other bus shelters in the local area that encroach quite so much on the shop front of a small business or that are as run down as this one. We are willing to install an awning on the front of our store to provide shelter to those waiting at Bus Stop N if you agree to remove this bus shelter. Given that this bus shelter has no information displayed and little to no electrical features, surely this is a far better alternative as it would open up the street and also would make the road a lot more aesthetically appealing.
