No left turn onto Eversholt Street causing dangerous traffic

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2384799.
The introduction of the cycle lane on the south side of Oakley Square and the 'no left turn' sign is meaning that traffic is instead coming through the north side of Oakley Square which was a quiet residential street. It's now constantly full of traffic and noise and it is extremely dangerous trying to cross the road as there is no pedestrian crossing. The road is narrow so two cars cannot pass and there is parking on both sides so we are now also breathing in all the exhaust fumes from cars and vans sitting in traffic waiting to turn left onto Eversholt Street. It would be MUCH more sensible to route the cycle lane down the north side of Oakley Square which is a quieter road and allow the cars to turn left on the south side. It would be safer for cyclists to cycle down our quiet street than the many lanes of the south side of the square. I am a cyclist myself and do this regularly. Please, please move the cycle lane and have the cars go back to their normal route! There is a petition being circulated by local residents - please listen to us!
