Push buttons turning on when no pedestrians present

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 14:32, Friday 20 November 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2397563.

Member of public reports, "As soon as the lights turns green all the wait buttons light up. This lets about 5 vehicles through before they change to red. There is then about a 30 second wait for nobody to cross before the process starts again."

  • YYour report has been investigated and we can confirm that there is a fault with the pedestrian wait button. We have passed this to our contractors, and it will be fixed within 28 days.
