Drain cover making noise each time vehicle drives over
Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 17:27, Saturday 21 November 2020
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2399051.
The manhole/drain cover directly outside Queens Rd Doctor Surgery and The Field, in the bus lane, rocks noisily whenever a vehicle (mainly buses) drive over it. It makes a loud clang-clang noise each time, which is extremely disturbing at night when there is no other road noise to drown it out. Everyone in the adjacent houses is complaining of disturbed sleep.
It is a square drain cover with a grille rather than the round manholes in the middle of the road.

I've looked and there are actually two drains next to each other so I'm not sure which one is making the noise. One is the square grille type and one is a traditional square flat manhole cover.
