Incorrect bus timetable from Rush Common to Brixton Station

Yesterday morning I was 45 minutes late for work because no buses were running towards Loughborough Junction. They were all on diversion which caused more traffic and there was no notice on any of the bus stops or the Bus Times App. Each bus would say it was coming in 5-7 minutes but then the times would change to 15-20 minutes. There was nothing on the TFL website and no bus drivers were helping in telling me where I could get the 45, 35 or P4 towards Loughborough Junction/ Padfield Road and why they wasn’t running. In the end I had to pay for a cab to take me to my destination which cost £5. I believe TFL should give me back to money I spent trying to get to work.
