Standard sized manhole cover broken outside our flat on York Road just after the VW garage, which causing clanking noise very few seconds as cars go over it on our very busy street, has been ongoing since June 2020 day and night since roadworks happned.

Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 09:13, Wed 9 December 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2423810.

The manhole cover has been loose since road works happned in June 2020. We live on a very busy road and as cars drive over day and night it makes a clank/rocking noise which is becoming increasingly difficult to live with. As we work from home with incrdibly difficult front line jobs it is casuing difficulty sleeping, & diffiuculty focusing during the day when working. I think it just needs to be leveled out or tightend but it would genuinely make this situation more bareable if it could be fixed. It is on York Road SW11 3RD outside Palmitine house and just after the VW garage just before the landrover showroom.
