Narrow pathway due to overgrown foliage on Faggs Rd

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Overcrowding category anonymously at 20:34, Tue 15 December 2020

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2433832.

This pathway has been overgrown by about 2 feet of ivy and other foliage for most of this year. It is dangerous passing other pedestrians because of the busy road. The first pic is between the river and Dukes Green Ave. The 2nd pic is further along between Tesco and the entrance to the cemetry. (Reported to Hounslow Council 18 Nov this year)

  • Thank you for taking the time to report pavement overcrowding, we are looking to provide more space for both pedestrians and cyclists on our network across the Capital. Your information will be used to help target areas where measures are needed. We will do our best to make as much space as we can while social distancing guidelines remain in place

    State changed to: Fixed

  • The problem has not been fixed. It can be seen from the photos that the ivy and upper bushes are overlapping the footway by about 2 feet (600 mm) and this is apparent as checked today (18 Dec 2020).
