Pedestrian button not working
Reported via mobile in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 08:18, Thu 17 December 2020
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS2435785.
Please note this is a resubmission as I was there today and it is still not working. The traffic lights are working ok but the pedestrian wait buttons on both sides of the road are unresponsive to being pressed, there is only one that works so if you are on the other side of the road you have to wait until someone else presses it. It looks mechanical in that if you press the button in very hard it registers but then switches off again. There is a risk to the public as you always have to just cross the road between traffic. Please could someone sort out the issue. I can't see how this can be fixed remotely as someone needs to visit the location and try the buttons themselves.
