Sunken manhole cover

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing concerning a sunken manhole cover in the centre of Battersea Rise, SW11 1HH, which is a red route. This is causing lorries, vans and cars which are travelling along this route especially at speed to hit the sunken cover causing significant vibrations, noise and I should imagine wear and tear/maybe damage.

There have been previous covers in similar circumstances in the past that have been modified and raised up to reduce the noise/vibrations. This vibration can be felt by the local residents in flats such as mine, two floors in height that are adjacent to the area, which is opposite Hafer road and Dominos Pizza.
